Thank you so much for sharing this.Ginihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08614538259404355973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542208776777601863.post-78714455806998607412011-11-28T14:57:29.540-06:002011-11-28T14:57:29.540-06:00Oh my Friend Ames, your emotional reaction to Matt...Oh my Friend Ames, your emotional reaction to Mattie's story gives me inspiration to continue writing in Mattie's Journal. For some reason, Mattie has struck a chord with me...maybe it's Emma's Sixth Sense at work. I truly believe her mother knew, as mothers do, how Mattie felt. My Sixth Sense tells me your Mother knows, too. <br />Ditto!~SueSue McPeakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04927975578544675345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7542208776777601863.post-3983066316233303662011-11-28T14:23:35.523-06:002011-11-28T14:23:35.523-06:00Sue I so enjoyed this story. I didn't get the chance to thank my mother either. Oh the things we take for granted. My father has told us that we are part Cherokee. All I know is that he said he remembers his grandmother had darker skin and she was so little they had to help her up in the chair when she was an old woman. Her name was granny Daws. That's all I know . Not much to go on. Love ya!~AmesAmeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15074479473400202674noreply@blogger.com
